Amazon Web Services (AWS) Specialist Technology Team (STT) seeks a Senior Product Manager to own a multi-year portfolio and guide PMs in shaping roadmaps across AI-powered, internal tools and customer-facing products.

You will build a high-performing team, align with engineering, design, GTM, field leadership, and drive adoption, productivity, and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of successful technology products work from ideation through launch.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Set and drive a cohesive product vision and multi-year strategy across the portfolio while staying hands-on at the individual product level.
• Build, manage, and develop a high-performing PM team—hiring top talent, coaching on best practices, and fostering a culture of customer obsession and operational excellence.
• Guide product direction across both halves of the portfolio: AI-powered internal tools enabling field self-sufficiency and customer-facing products accelerating AWS service adoption.
• Drive cross-organizational alignment with engineering, science, design, GTM, and field leadership—resolving dependencies and enabling seamless consumption by field teams, partners, and customers.
• Establish outcome-oriented metrics and accountability frameworks across the portfolio to measure adoption, productivity, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
• Represent the product portfolio to senior leadership, articulating vision, progress, risks, and trade-offs at Director and VP-level reviews.

AWS Specialist Technology Team (STT) is the connective tissue between AWS's deep technical specialists, field teams, and customers—delivering L300+ technical expertise, mechanisms, and products that accelerate customer success and drive frictionless AWS adoption at scale. Our mission spans two fronts: we are fundamentally transforming how thousands of field team members access specialist knowledge through AI-powered, on-demand expertise across 30+ technical domains, and we build and ship customer-facing engineered solutions that accelerate AWS service adoption across industries including security, AI/ML, spatial data, cost optimization, and more.

Key job responsibilities

• Set and drive a cohesive product vision and multi-year strategy across the portfolio while staying hands-on at the individual product level—working through your PMs to shape roadmaps, evaluate proposals, and make prioritization calls.
• Build, manage, and develop a high-performing PM team—hiring top talent, coaching on best practices, setting ambitious goals, and fostering a culture of customer obsession and operational excellence.
• Guide product direction across both halves of the portfolio: AI-powered internal tools enabling field self-sufficiency through agentic workflows and knowledge platforms, and customer-facing products accelerating AWS service adoption through AI-ready, agent-accessible architectures.
• Drive cross-organizational alignment with engineering, science, design, GTM, and field leadership—resolving dependencies, driving integration strategies, and ensuring seamless consumption by field teams, partners, and customers.
• Establish outcome-oriented metrics and accountability frameworks across the portfolio, ensuring your PMs are measuring impact on adoption, productivity, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
• Represent the product portfolio to senior leadership, clearly articulating vision, progress, risks, and trade-offs at Director and VP-level reviews.

The Specialist Technology Team provides L300+ technical skills, tech mechanisms, products and programs to accelerate customers to build businesses with AWS, serving as the API between AWS technical specialists, field teams, and customers to drive frictionless AWS adoption through technology.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of successful technology products work from ideation through launch experience
• 5+ years of people management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

• Experience delivering technology products or services in a high growth environment
• Experience shaping business strategy for technical products or services for large enterprises or partners

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
