Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Greenville, TX seeks a Specialist, Project Management to coordinate cross‑functional efforts across the Program Office, Procurement, Engineering and Manufacturing to keep programs on budget and on schedule.

This role emphasizes planning, risk management, and clear communication with customers and suppliers. You will manage material budgets, forecast needs, review SOWs, support proposals, and lead teams to deliver milestones with DoD sector experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• DoD Secret clearance required.
• Experience in production/manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison between Program Office, management, customers, suppliers and stakeholders to resolve program issues.
• Manage the material budget and provide accurate forecasts for program material requirements and EAC impacts.
• Define task requirements, estimate budgets/schedules, set priorities, and develop management plans.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing to ensure drawings are released and schedules met.
• Provide proposal support including estimating labor and material scopes.
• Review proposals and SOWs to establish status metrics and reporting for make/buy decisions and supplier issues.
• Use program management tools to monitor performance, budgets and timelines and support decision making.
• Lead or participate in Integrated Product Teams to ensure successful execution and reduce non-value-added costs.

Job Description:

• MPM will function as the point-of-contact between the Program Office, Functional Management, the Customer, supplier relationships, and other stakeholders to coordinate efforts to ensure successful resolutions of program issues.
• Manage the material budget for assigned program. Provide accurate material forecast. Assists in providing comprehensive business analysis of program material requirements and manage impact to program EAC's for all material related actions.
• Work collaboratively with Program Office and Functional PManagement, as well as other stakeholders, to define and assign task requirements; estimate and establish budget and schedules; determine appropriate performance metrics; clarify priorities; and develop and implement specific management plans to support the program.
• Interact with Engineering / Engineering design reviews, Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing personnel to ensure appropriate drawings are released and program schedules are achieved.
• Provide proposal support to include estimating the scope of MPM labor and material efforts.
• Assists in reviewing proposals & Statements of Work (SOW) to establish status metrics and reporting methods that assists with Make buy decisions, follows up on open purchase orders, verifies delivery, participates in resolving supplier issues, approves payment, and maintains necessary records of material movement throughout manufacturing and inventory cycle(s).
• Utilize program management tools to monitor and report program performance to objectives (including budget, schedule, and other management requirements), and facilitate project coordination and decision-making.
• Lead/participate in Integrated Product Teams to assure successful program execution and drive non-value-added costs out of the program.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to travel and work extended hours.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Experience working in (or) supporting production/manufacturing environment
• Experience supporting aircraft production (or) modification efforts
• Financial report experience, along with working knowledge and previous experience with SAP and BSI.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required
