Job summary

WWF is seeking a Specialist, Program Business Solutions and Analysis to bridge user needs with BI/Analytics solutions in Power BI and Fabric. You’ll support Workday reporting, document processes, and enable users in English and Spanish.

The role requires 5+ years in BI roles, strong Power BI, Excel/Power Query, and cross-team collaboration, with occasional travel to field offices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, information systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence/reporting roles.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required, with ability to support Spanish-speaking users.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling and visualization best practices.
  • Advanced Excel and Power Query skills, including complex formulas and data transformation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, data modelling, and related analytics tools preferred.
  • Experience leading requirements discussions and documenting business needs for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday, and SmartSimple systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of data governance and cross-system integration is highly desired.
  • Experience with international or distributed teams is strongly preferred.
  • Occasional travel to WWF-US field or country offices may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the bridge between end users and technical solutions, focusing on Power BI and Fabric.
  • Design and maintain dashboards for actionable insights; ensure data accuracy and documentation.

Job Description
Major Function

Reporting to the Director, the Specialist, Program Business Solutions and Analysis serves as a bridge between end users and technical solutions, with a primary focus on building strong relationships with staff in WWF-US Country Offices to understand their reporting and analytics needs. The role translates those needs into effective, sustainable solutions primarily in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data accuracy, usability, and alignment with operational priorities. This position also supports Workday Adaptive Planning reporting, process documentation, system enhancement testing, and user enablement in both English and Spanish.

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting and Analytics (Primary Focus)
  • Serves as the primary point of contact with HQ Program Operations and Country office staff (in English and Spanish) to understand business questions, reporting requirements, and decision-making needs.
  • Design and maintain Power BI and Microsoft Fabric dashboards that provide timely, actionable insights tailored to end-user needs.
  • Validate report data for accuracy, ensure dashboards reflect correct business needs rules and structures, ad maintain documentation for report logic, definitions, filters, and assumptions.
  • Develop and deliver training, and job aids (in English and Spanish) to help users navigate and interpret reports
  • Provide ongoing user support in English and Spanish by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and guidig no-technical staff in data-driven decision-makig.
Process & System Support (Secondary Focus)
  • Assist in system issue triage by reproducing and documenting errors, coordinating with relevant teams, and testing fixes.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements, providing feedback and supporting release communications.
  • Assist with periodic access audits and coordinate with IT on user provisioning for reporting tools.
  • Contribute to process mapping, workflow documentation, and light process improvement activities in collaboration with the Director.

  • Occasional travel to WWF-US field or country office (less than 5%, a minimum of 1 to 2 trips a year to Washington, DC or other Latin American field offices) may be required.

Candidates must be currently based and authorized to work in one of the following countries to be eligible for this position: Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala/Belize/Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname and Guyana.

Remuneration: Salary and benefits for this position will be paid in local currency.
