Job summary

Patterson-UTI is seeking a Technical Procurement Specialist in Houston to support procurement, material planning, and supplier management for the Rig-Up Yard and Fabrication Shop. This role ensures sourcing of raw materials, machined components, tooling, consumables, and outsourced services to support fabrication, manufacturing, and rig construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement, material planning, and supplier management for the Rig-Up Yard and Fabrication Shop.
• Source and procure raw materials, fabricated components, machined components, tooling, consumables, and outsourced services to support fabrication, manufacturing, and rig construction projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering Support Coordinator, Engineering, Drafting, Machine Shop, Fabrication, Quality Control, Shipping & Receiving, Project Management, vendors, suppliers, and the Corporate Purchasing team to support material planning, procurement execution, inventory requirements, material traceability, and project schedules.
