The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Sales Operations and will be responsible for supporting the sales team by performing on-site shoe fittings and delivering excellent customer service at client locations.

They will travel across the US and Canada, represent Shoes For Crews at events, drive high participation, manage event logistics, and build strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure a premier on-site experience.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail or shoe sales experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 90% domestically.
  • Full-time availability including evenings and weekends.
  • Dependable with strong work ethic and deadlines.

  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record.
  • Access to personal credit card for approved expenses; receipts required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive 100+ pairs per event with 80% participation.
  • Use selling skills and footwear fitting to engage customers.
  • Know products to meet safety and workplace needs based on function and foot type.
  • Coordinate event details pre-, during-, and post-fitting with the Manager, Sales Operations.
  • Lead pre-event calls, schedule travel, and set up materials.
  • Drive participation and provide mid-day updates to the team.
  • Submit orders and expense reports after fittings and reconcile statements.
  • Support other departments during non-travel time with orders and service tasks.

Job description

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will report directly to the Manager, Sales Operations and will be responsible for supporting the sales team by performing on‑site shoe fittings. The candidate must be professional, reliable, and flexible, and possess a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills. This role serves as the primary contact for client employees during onsite events. The candidate will travel across the US and Canada and represent Shoes For Crews to new and existing customers by providing an outstanding store experience on‑site at their location.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
  • Ambitious attitude to drive 80% participation and to deliver 100+ pairs per event
  • Understands and utilizes basic selling skills and footwear fitting to properly engage and present solutions to customers
  • Possesses a complete working knowledge of products and services to help customers select the right products for their safety needs based on job functions, foot type, comfort and workplace requirements
  • Coordinates all details of each fitting with the Manager, Sales Operations, including:
    • Pre-Fitting Event
      • Lead pre-event call to gather and confirm all the event details
      • Schedule travel arrangements once fitting is assigned (book one way at least)
      • Set up pelican cases and make sure only approved styles are shipped to fitting
    • During Fitting Event
      • Drive participation and keep team informed with mid-day updates via email
    • Post-Fitting Event
      • Maintains details of customer inquiries, feedback, and onsite observations
      • Refers unresolved customer concerns to managers for further investigation
      • Submits orders and expense reports after fittings and reconciles statements
  • During non-travel time, supports other departments including, but not limited to, Customer Service by placing orders or handling customer service issues, Business Development by making outbound calls for new customer onboarding, SFC Stores by providing sales support, or any other duties as assigned by the department manager
Qualifications And Skills Required
  • 2+ years of retail, shoe sales, or sales/marketing experience preferred
  • Ability to work a full‑time schedule with varying hours, including evenings and weekends; domestic travel up to 90%
  • Dependable, with high integrity, a strong work ethic, and a consistent record of meeting deadlines
  • Keeps a positive, professional attitude in fast‑paced or high‑pressure event settings
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to track schedules and details accurately
  • Able to work independently while following company policies and operating procedures
  • Flexible and adaptable; learns quickly and is open to new tasks and changing priorities
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify underlying issues and practical solutions
  • Attentive and active listener
  • Driven to meet goals and generate results
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships and generate sales in person
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation
  • Successful presentation and public speaking skills
  • Accurate and professional written and verbal communication; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Current valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Access to a personal credit card is preferred for approved business expenses when the corporate American Express card is not accepted; expenses are reimbursed with valid receipts
  • Prior business travel and outbound calling experience a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand frequently and for extended periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds with assistance
Education Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
