Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master/Bachelor with relevant manufacturing operations experience as specified.
• Experience supporting manufacturing processes, NPI, and documentation.
• Familiarity with GMP, safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily manufacturing floor support and monitor process performance.
• Initiate, revise, review, and approve procedures and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot process issues and provide timely technical support to maintain production.
• Participate in NPI activities and assess documentation, material, training and requirements.
• Support change management and CCRB packages impacting operations.
• Engage in special projects and ensure GMP and quality compliance.
• Analyze manufacturing data to support monitoring and decision-making.
• Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, validation, and supply chain teams.

mîrus Consulting Group is a local company based in Humacao, Puerto Rico that provides computer system validation and information technology consulting services to pharmaceutical companies and other organizations across the Island and parts of the United States. Its services include the assessment and validation of automation equipment, network infrastructures and business processes, as well as the project management involved.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Specialist Manufacturing to provide technical and operational support to manufacturing processes, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production operations. The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate process performance, support troubleshooting activities, implement process improvements, and contribute to manufacturing projects and new product introductions (NPI).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily manufacturing floor support and monitor process performance through direct observation and review of operational metrics and performance data.
• Initiate, revise, review, and approve manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and related documentation.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues and provide timely technical support to maintain production continuity.
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by assessing documentation, material, training, and operational requirements.
• Support manufacturing change management activities and assist process owners with CCRB packages impacting manufacturing operations.
• Participate in the assessment or implementation of special projects or initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze manufacturing data and trending information to support process monitoring and decision-making.
• Collaborate with production personnel, quality, engineering, validation, and supply chain teams to resolve process-related challenges.

Qualifications

One of the following combinations of education and experience is required:

• Doctorate Degree in a scientific or engineering field, OR
• Master’s Degree with 2+ years of Manufacturing Operations experience, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of Manufacturing Operations experience

Schedule: 8-hour shift | Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
