Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist International Program Finance to support the NGJ portfolio from Salt Lake City. You will work within the Network & Datalink Solutions division on project controls, cost estimates, and forecasts for Navy contracts.

The role requires a Finance background with 4+ years of experience, ability to analyze costs and perform EAC, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A US security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience in Finance.
• Graduate Degree and minimum 2 years of prior related experience in Finance.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in Finance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and activate assigned projects, service orders, and production work orders in SAP.
• Monitor and analyze program costs against budget and forecast.
• Prepare Estimates at Completion (EAC) for direct charge programs with cross-functional IPT.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and cash forecasting.
• Perform variance analysis to explain deviations from EAC, Sales, Profit, and Cash.

Job Description:

The Network & Datalink Solutions is a division within the L3Harris Spectrum Superiority Sector.This division manages multiple portfolios of communications contracts with the primary end customer of the Navy. This role will support the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) portfolio with 3 additional program finance analysts.NGJ is an ACAT I program with a monthly IPMDAR submittal and yearly DCMA audits.

Essential Functions:

• Project controls analyst responsible for set up and activation of assigned projects, service orders and production work order support in SAP
• Ensure adherence to all procedures within Finance and Accounting policies
• Monitor and analyze program costs, perform financial analysis for labor, material, subcontract and ODC (other direct cost) estimates against budget and forecast
• Prepare Estimates at Completion (EAC) for direct charge programs by working with cross functional IPT (Integrated Product Team)
• Provide inputs for the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and cash forecasting process
• Perform variance analysis to forecasted results (EAC, Sales, Profit and Cash), identifying specific drivers of deviations from estimates.
• Review weekly labor/material charges and perform necessary cost transfers.
• Compile and strategically review financial and business impacts with program leadership.
• Proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities and contributing to strategic program decision‑making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience in Finance. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience in Finance. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in Finance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Prior experience in Aerospace and Defense industry; with in-depth understanding of government contracts and contract types
• Prior expertise using program finance tools such as: SAP/Excel/Hyperion/Deltek COBRA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; exceptional attention to detail
• Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, leadership, and other functions (oral, written, listening)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a challenging and fast paced environment
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance if needed.
