Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Londonderry, NH seeks a Specialist, Integration and Test Engineering to develop, integrate, and evaluate optical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies for high-performance systems. You will work within a systems engineering team to define test requirements and execute DVT and qualification tests.

Responsibilities include test planning, data analysis, and reporting, with emphasis on reliability and conformance testing.

Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior Integration & Test or Systems Engineering experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior Integration & Test or Systems Engineering experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior Integration & Test or Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience with laser product testing is a requirement.
• Working knowledge of MIL-STD-810 testing requirements.
• Experience working with DoD contract requirements.
• Experience testing high reliability electromechanical products.
• Experience working with thermal sensors and image intensifiers.
• Proficient in ELM/DOORs or similar requirements / quality management software.

• Develop test requirements, methods, and solutions from downstream requirements.
• Create and maintain conformance, environmental and reliability test procedures.
• Plan, schedule, and execute DVT and Qualification testing including environmental and reliability tests.
• Generate DVT and Qualification test reports.
• Perform test data reduction, analysis, and reporting; analyze failure data for trends.
• Support NPI engineering review boards and stage gate reviews.
• Develop test station requirements and provide development support.

Job Description:

The Specialist, Integration and Test Engineering will be responsible for developing, integrating and evaluating optical, electronic and mechanical equipment, components or assemblies for complex, high performance electromechanical systems.

Essential Functions:

• Review, analysis, and understanding of program level objectives, system concept of operation, product architectures and interfaces, and subsystem equipment, functions, interfaces, and operations
• Develop test requirements, methods, and test solutions from requirements flowed down as part of the systems engineering team
• Creation and maintenance of conformance, environmental and reliability test procedures
• Planning, scheduling and execution of Design Verification Testing (DVT) and Qualification conformance, environmental and reliability testing
• Generation of DVT and Qualification test reports
• Perform test data reduction, analysis, and test reporting; analyze failure data for trends, systemic issues, and reduction/elimination of test escapements
• Support NPI engineering review boards and stage gate reviews
• Test station requirement generation, development support and verification/validation
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills through the preparation and presentation of technical reviews and program status
• Ability to develop creative yet practical solutions to technical challenges
