Job summary

JLL seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician in Holdrege, NE to ensure the reliability and safety of the client facility. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and complete repairs on critical equipment, supporting a safe and efficient on-site environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in industrial/commercial HVAC and mechanical maintenance, with refrigerant licensing and BAS/CMMS familiarity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in industrial/commercial HVAC and mechanical maintenance.
• Refrigerant License or EPA Universal certification preferred.
• Trade school program in HVAC or related field preferred.
• Experience with BAS or CMMS systems desired.
• Proficient in piping, valves and filtration systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain building HVAC and critical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collaborate with technicians and operators on major repairs and installations.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces, ladders, and rooftops.
• Operate hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and vehicles safely.

What this job involves

As a Maintenance Technician with JLL, you will be a key part of ensuring the operational reliability and safety of our client's facility. This role requires a hands-on, skilled technician who is proficient in mechanical systems maintenance. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and completing repairs on a wide range of critical equipment. Your work will directly contribute to a safe, efficient, and fully functional environment for everyone on-site.

What your day-to-day will look like

• Monitor and maintain critical building systems, including HVAC, chillers, and associated controls, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety policies, including the proper handling of materials and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other technicians and building operators on major repairs, maintenance projects, and equipment installations.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, working in confined spaces (crawl spaces, attics), and safely working on ladders (up to 28') and rooftops.
• Safely operate electric hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and motor vehicles.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, state equivalent, or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in industrial or commercial HVAC and mechanical maintenance.
• Refrigerant License
• Certifications in HVAC (e.g., EPA Universal), plumbing, or other relevant trades.
• Completion of a technical trade school program in a related field (e.g., HVAC, mechanical systems).
• Experience with building automation systems (BAS) or a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Proficiency in the installation and repair of piping, valves, and filters.

Location: 1329 West US Highway 6 Holdrege, Nebraska

Work Shift: Tuesday- Friday, 7am to 5pm

Salary/Comp: $25-$30
