Job summary

Ricoh USA, Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Graphic Designer to craft complex multimedia visuals for print, web, and event materials. The role demands strong brand adherence, typography, layout, and timely delivery across Mac/PC platforms.

You will translate concepts into professional designs, advise clients, and produce production-ready artwork for packaging, advertising, and digital applications while managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Demonstrated expertise in graphic design, layout, and visual communication.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related professional experience.
  • Print production experience preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and represent Ricoh in a professional manner.
  • Maintain strong organizational, customer service, and follow-up skills.
  • Develop creative concepts and translate them into compelling visual communications.
  • Create design solutions using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver across Macintosh and PC platforms.
  • Provide graphic design consultation and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external clients.
  • Produce production-ready artwork for print, packaging, advertising, point-of-purchase materials, and digital applications.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet customer quality standards and design requirements.
  • Design and format multi-page documents using style sheets and style mapping techniques.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new design methodologies.
  • Apply innovative thinking to solve design challenges while balancing budget, timeline, and business requirements.
  • Adhere to all legal and copyright requirements related to duplication, printing, software licensing, and font usage.
  • Meet established production schedules and project deadlines.
  • Consult with clients and internal stakeholders to determine design needs, project scope, budgets, and timelines.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and printers, publishers, or production vendors.
  • Review proofs and collaborate with printers to ensure quality production outcomes.
  • Manage digital asset libraries and utilize asset management technologies.
  • Coordinate and lead the work of other designers, as needed.
  • Develop and conceptualize brand and property identities, including logos, layouts, and color palettes.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Specialist, Graphic Designer Position Profile

Develops and designs complex multimedia visual communications, often under tight deadlines, including conference and event materials, internal marketing collateral, brochures, publications, and web page designs. Creates visual concepts that meet client and business objectives and prepares designs for print, web, and multimedia production. Responsibilities include selecting typography, establishing visual hierarchies, adhering to brand and style guidelines, developing layouts, editing illustrations and photography, and determining the effective use of graphic elements.
