Job summary

L3Harris in Clifton, NJ is seeking a versatile Digital Circuit Card Assembly design engineer to support EW product design and manufacturing for military applications. You will focus on digital circuit design, processor interfaces, and verification across IDR/PDR/CDR, with emphasis on system-level performance and reliability.

Requirements include a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering with 2–4+ years of experience, PCB layout oversight, and scripting for build tools. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required and at least 4 years of industry experience OR: MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years of industry experience
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits to the component level
• Experience performing schematic capture and overseeing PCB layout
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting Digital HW design, test and integration at the circuit card or module level (schematic capture, BOM generation, layout or layout supervision)
• Understanding of digital design fundamentals to include modem architectures, power supplies, interfacing with ADCs, FPGAs, and more
• Ability to independently develop test procedures and conduct design verification testing

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of Digital CCA product development, including system and module level design and definition, schematic capture, circuit design, derating, and Worst-Case Analysis (WCA).
• Prepare and present engineering design concepts and data results for IDR/PDR/CDR.
• Support internal peer reviews, design verification testing of engineering units, and oversight of production.

• Write scripts to control synthesis and build tools

Job Description:

L3Harris in Clifton, NJ is seeking a versatile Digital Circuit Card Assembly design engineer to support the design and manufacturing of Electronic Warfare (EW) products for ground and airborne-based military applications. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of digital circuit design with emphasis on Processor, Digital receiver and Interface design and development.

Essential Functions:

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts,
New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $92,500 - $171,500.
This is not a guarantee of compensation
or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and
