Job summary

MWI Animal Health is seeking a Delivery Specialist to transport animal health products to livestock customers from our distribution network. You will manage inventory at customer sites and perform loading/unloading, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work with Territory Managers. Candidates should be able to drive a box truck or similar vehicle and maintain a valid DOT health card.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in agriculture or related field.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• May need Class A CDL certification; company may cover costs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to designated locations daily; maintain inventory in customer sites.
• Load and unload supplies; ensure proper stocking.
• Operate box truck, van, or company vehicles safely; maintain CDL health card.
• Follow procedures; coordinate with Sales Operations and Territory Managers.

Apply today!# **Job Details**This role is in support of Cencora’s veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business. MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, serving animal health markets globally. **Summary of Role:**The Delivery Specialist is responsible for delivering product for the assigned corporate accounts within the Livestock Business Unit. These accounts will be mostly swine accounts and could include some dairy, Vet Clinics, and other customers. This position reports through sales operations team and works closely with territory managers as well as maintaining a close working relationship with Distribution facilities. Product is transported from company distribution facility to customer locations daily. A high customer service ability is required. **Shift Details:** Monday- Friday 6:30am-3:30pm**Location:** Must be located within a 30-mile radius of Elizabethtown, PA region **Responsibilities:** • Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Will be responsible for delivery, inventory control, stocking of animal health products in designated areas located at each customer-designated location. • Must be competent in the use of Outlook, Internet, Company Intranet sources. • Act as a resource to the customer with topics like inventory management, equipment and products, etc. • Comply with other requests from MWI Territory Managers and leadership. • Participate in conference calls and meetings as requested. • Possess the ability to drive a Box truck, Van or other company vehicles safely and with proficiency. • Possess a DOT physical health card. • Drives truck to designated location then loads and unloads supplies and equipment as directed by bill of ladings and customer orders • Must have an acceptable driving record and be able to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods while traveling on Company business. • Inspect truck equipment, supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water for defects, before and after trips • Maintain vehicle upkeep by performing general maintenance and addressing safety concerns including: • Report all discrepancies and safety concerns to Sales operations manager • Report all needed major repairs to Sales operations manager • Performs emergency roadside repairs • Ensures cargo is secure during transit • Maintain accurate driving records and follows all regulations including: • DOT and Hazmat regulations and procedures if required. • Inspection reports • Cargo loads • Customer receipts- Bring Customer product returns and proper paperwork back to the MWI warehouse if needed. • Follows all procedures as detailed in the Delivery Specialist Procedure Manual.• Any other job duties as assigned**Education:**Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in an Agriculture related field. May be required to obtain a Class A CDL certification, with the opportunity to have MWI Animal Health cover certain costs associated with that certification.**Skills and Knowledge:*** Adequate mobility to continually walk and stand; pull orders from various shelf heights; and ability to lift up to 35 lbs -50 lbs regularly is required.* Occasionally will move 75 lbs from pallet to pallet.* Must be able to read and understand English* Basic mathematical skills, number recognition skills* Good hand/eye coordination.* Good customer service skills and a sense of urgency are required.* Must be available for on-call rotation.
