Job Description

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist Client Service II to join our team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Supports clients directly by handling all general banking inquiries
  • Responsibilities include conducting relationship reviews, managing daily overdrafts, processing mail deposits, closing accounts, and opening additional accounts for existing clients
  • Team Members process a high volume of monetary and non-monetary transactions and requests
  • Work directly with external clients to resolve day-to-day issues
  • Support clients with handling all general banking inquiries via a high volume of emails and phone calls.
  • Responsible for processing high volume of monetary and non-monetary transactions
  • Be able to prioritize work and completing client request in a timely manner
  • Apply problem-solving skills and assist clients with research matters
  • Use communication skills to deliver high-quality service to a specialized client base
  • Provide clients information related to BNY products and services representing a limited number of lines of business
  • Leverage a general understanding of broader BNY services and offerings
  • Monitor client inquiries and escalate non-routine or complex issues to the appropriate team member, as needed
  • Participate in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
  • 7 and 63 licenses preferred, or ability to obtain them with a specified amount of time.
  • May have people management responsibilities in some geographies. Provides guidance to less experienced team members.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
