This role serves as a foundation for category management and procurement operations.Key responsibilities: Specialist, Category Procurement, CAPEX & Labor & ServicesProcurement AdministrationMaintain supplier records and documentationSupport vendor onboarding and qualification activitiesManage procurement databases and tracking tools.Assist with Capex category presentations to senior leadership.Assist with tracking and reporting Capex avoidance progress toward KPIsAssist with creating and maintaining savings models and tracking monthly progress toward Capex and L&S KPIs.Sourcing SupportPrepare bid packages and supplier communications.Collect and organize supplier responses.Assist in preparing bid analysis summaries.Contract SupportMaintain contract repositories and tracking systemsMonitor contract expiration and renewal schedulesProcess contract documentation and approvals.Review, negotiate, and award smaller service agreements with support from Sr Specialists and above.Communicate stakeholder concerns effectively to contractors/suppliers for resolution.Use data from SAP and other systems to prepare reports on supplier/contractor performance.Data & ReportingGenerate spend, savings, and supplier reportsMaintain procurement dashboards and KPIs.Validate procurement data accuracy.Supplier CoordinationAssist suppliers with administrative inquiries.Coordinate documentation and compliance requirements.Support issue tracking and follow-up activities.Compliance SupportEnsure procurement files are complete and audit-ready.Support SOX compliance activities.Maintain procurement records and supporting documentation.About YouK nowledgeSupport SOX compliance activities.Microsoft Office proficiency – MS Word, Excel, PowerPointSolid analytical skills for using SAP and other tools to process supplier/contractor dataGood communication and presentation skillsAttention to detail and first-time quality of work.Willingness to engage face-to-face with engineers and operations/maintenance stakeholders.Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot and the ability to use them responsibly.Procurement fundamentals and purchasing processesSupplier onboarding and maintenance proceduresContract repository and document management practicesData management and reporting fundamentalsERP systems and procurement technologiesProcurement compliance requirementsBasic financial and spend reporting conceptsRequired and Preferred Education/CertificationAssociate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or related field (preferred)Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain (e.g., CPSM) (preferred)Microsoft Excel or Power BI certification (preferred)Required and Preferred Work Experience1-3 years of experience in procurement, category management or supply chain (required)Experience working with business systems and data management (required)Experience supporting cross-functional teams (required)SAP Experience (preferred)Supplier onboarding or contract administration experience (preferred)Procurement or sourcing support experience (preferred)Total RewardsThe annual pay range estimated for this position is $67,240.00 - $84,050.00 and is bonus eligible.Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities.
