Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment according to preventable maintenance schedule.
• Clean machines and immediate work area.
• Produce, visually inspect and package product.
• Operate equipment and perform process functions.
• Conduct inspections and perform process tests.
• Understand and complete all required paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Respond to and reset alarms as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain certification on equipment assigned.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Shift Leader and support the needs of the business in a high‑speed manufacturing environment.
• Remain alert and focused and sustain a productive work environment through effective communication with team members.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the process.
• Obey all company policies, standards and rules, including safety policies and lockout procedures.

Experience & Education

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1+ year experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or experience working for BD or embecta.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills including Microsoft Office.
• Good inter‑personal skills preferred.
• PCP Level = 3.
