Job summary

GreenView Partners is seeking a dependable, full-time Landscape Specialist in Fort Mill, SC to perform routine outdoor landscape maintenance and operate commercial equipment. You will work with a crew to deliver quality service to our commercial clients.

The role requires physical work outdoors, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to learn new skills while adhering to safety policies. Day-to-day duties include operating mowers, trimmers, and other landscape tools.

Qualifications

  • Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience operating commercial landscape equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and work with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine commercial landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, mulching, and weed control.
  • Operate landscape equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related tools.

  • Follow the supervisor's directions to complete assigned work safely and efficiently.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Landscape Specialist – Join Our Team!

We're looking for dependable, hardworking full-time Landscape Specialists to join our team. In this role, you'll help maintain commercial properties by performing routine landscape maintenance, operating commercial landscape equipment, and working alongside your crew to deliver quality service to our customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Perform routine commercial landscape maintenance, including mowing, edging, string trimming, blowing, pruning, mulching, and weed control.
  • Operate commercial landscape equipment, including zero-turn mowers, walk-behind mowers, string trimmers, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other maintenance tools.
  • Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and landscaped areas according to company standards.
  • Follow the direction of the Field Manager or Supervisor to complete assigned work safely and efficiently.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all company safety policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Report damaged or unsafe equipment or conditions to your supervisor immediately.
  • Provide quality workmanship while maintaining a professional appearance and interacting courteously with customers and the public.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills, equipment, and plant materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, outdoor labor, or related experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience operating commercial landscape equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to safety and quality.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Walk extended distances across uneven terrain.

  • Safely operate commercial landscape equipment and hand tools.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
  • Climb ladders or similar structures when required.
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and direct sunlight.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
  • Meet the visual requirements necessary to safely perform the essential functions of the job.
