Special Services - Trash Removal

NATURE OF WORK

The Special Services Trash Removal is responsible for performing daily cleaning and removing trash, cleaning outside windows, stairs , and parking lots as well as other public areas such as in various settings, including residential, commercial, and public areas . T rash and waste removal as required by Encompass and customer regulations , s chools, h ospital, o ther settings . This role requires an individual who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of handling physically demanding tasks. The specialist will ensure that waste is collected, transported, and disposed of efficiently and in compliance with all safety and environmental regulations as per Encompass contractual responsibilities .

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and remove trash, recyclables, and other waste materials from designated areas.
• Handle special waste removal requests, such as bulk item pickups, hazardous waste, and electronic waste.

Transport and Disposal:

• Safely transport waste materials todesignateddisposal or recycling facilities.
• Operate trash removal vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsregardingwaste disposal and environmental protection.

Maintenance and Inspections:

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Report any issues or repairs needed to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements :
