Job summary

Nalley Consulting is seeking a Special Security Technician in Charlottesville, VA (onsite). The role requires TS/SCI clearance and the ability to pass a CI polygraph, with a preference for candidates who have recently taken a polygraph.

Required education is a Bachelor's degree. You will support SSO and program security functions across personnel, physical, industrial, and information security domains, ensuring policy compliance and secure operations.

Required clearance and polygraph: TS/SCI and ability to pass CI polygraph. Candidates with current poly taken within the past seven years highly prioritized.

Description

The SST plays a critical role in the protection of classified information, facilities, systems, and personnel by supporting Special Security Office (SSO) and program security functions. This position requires a strong understanding of security policies, procedures, and controlled environments within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC).

The selected candidate will provide advanced security administration, oversight, and compliance support across personnel, physical, industrial, and information security domains.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with ICD705 and handling classified information
• Ability to communicate with service requester and customers about sourcing requirements and issues
• Ability to process tasks quickly and efficiently with great attention to detail
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor's degree.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with addressing Compartmented Access Program (CAP) request for access concerns.
• Knowledge of Controlled Access Program Coordination Office (CAPCO) Classification, IC MSP XML metadata, or Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 501 standards and guidelines.
• Experience withtransferring products using a cross-domain mechanism in a timely manner.
