Your SSR-focused efforts include:

  • Developing, advising, and maintaining comprehensive SCI policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that align with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Department of War (DoW) and Air Force security regulations.
  • Overseeing and providing professional recommendations for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) construction, accreditation, modification, and physical protection mechanisms—including electronic physical security design.
  • Managing, operating, and configuring the Advantor Suite for Networks (ASN) head-end database servers and monitoring consoles to ensure continuous facility intrusion monitoring.
  • Integrating low-voltage Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Automated Access Control Systems (ACS), and CCTV/Video Management Systems (VMS) into day-to-day SCIF operations.

  • Conducting and tracking initial SCI indoctrinations, annual refresher training, foreign travel briefings, and debriefings in accordance with policy requirements.
  • Processing SCI access nominations, managing personnel security records, and conducting random and self-inspections to ensure continuous program compliance.
  • Managing visitor control operations, processing clearance verifications, and maintaining physical and electronic SCI visitor logs using secure databases and web-based portals.
  • Coordinating and integrating Special Access Programs (SAP) and compartmented security protocols into day-to-day SCIF operations and planning efforts.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current Top Secret/SCI security clearance with eligibility for a Polygraph examination.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of overall security experience, with at least four (4) years of specialized experience in special security programs (SCI/SAP) and physical security operations.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field, OR an equivalent combination of formal education and professional training in Special Security program requirements from an accredited Federal or DoD educational institution (covering physical security, Special Security, and Special Access Programs).
  • Hands-on technical proficiency with Advantor Suite for Networks (ASN) software, including system configuration, database server administration, and monitoring console management.
  • Direct working knowledge and troubleshooting capability with Advantor field hardware, including Premise Control Units (PCUs), low-voltage IDS sensors, ACS readers, and integrated CCTV systems.
  • Demonstrated experience aligning facility security with DoW and Air Force physical security standards, ICD 705 requirements, approved alarm rates, and technical compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to understand and work with security transmission protocols across serial communications, IP-based pathways, and LAN/WAN network architectures.
