Leidos is seeking a Special Security Officer (SSO) at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, VA. The role requires a current TS/SCI clearance and a strong background in SCI security across personnel, physical, and information domains.
The SSO will maintain SCI directives, manage visitor clearances, coordinate with DIA/DNI directives, and ensure SCIF compliance, including DISS. This is a full-time on-site position supporting ACC Wing SCI programs.

Candidates must already possess a current TS/SCI security clearance. The SSO will perform the full range of security duties and assignments in support ACC Wing SCI security programs and will assist in the operation of the special security office and help to administer the SCI security program to include providing SCI security guidance for other local/tenant SCIFs. The candidate will interpret Director of National Intelligence, Defense Intelligence Agency and DoD directives and provide technical advice and guidance on SCI personnel, physical and information security standards.

Pay Range: Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
