Job summary

WinTec Arrowmaker, Inc. is a defense contractor providing security program management to DoD customers. The Special Security Officer (SSO) in the Special Security Office Support position will provide a full range of security duties and assist in administering the SCI security program, including guidance for local/tenant SCIFs.

The SSO reports to the WinTec Program Manager. The role requires interpreting DNI, DIA and DoD directives, maintaining SCI directives, and ensuring proper safeguarding,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3–10 years’ experience in security.
• Knowledge of security principles, risk evaluation, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interpret DNI, DIA and DoD directives and provide guidance on SCI security standards.
• Maintain SCI directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines.
• Ensure SCI is properly safeguarded and disseminated only to authorized personnel.
• Investigate SCI security infractions and prepare required reports.
• Coordinate SCIF security and maintain accreditation documentation.
