  • Estimated annual base pay:

Level 1: $22/hr plus overtime

Level 2: $24/hr plus overtime

First shift role M-TH 5am-3:30pm

Level 1:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Specialized Equipment: Handles and operates designated machinery following established protocols. Performs basic maintenance and cleaning tasks.
  • Process: Observes and records key process variables to ensure consistency and quality in operations. Accurately logs daily operations and resolves or escalates concerns. Follows standard operating procedures.
  • Quality: Conducts inspections and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of products and records and maintains data per operating standards.
  • Organization & Cleanliness: Adheres to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean, organized, and free of unnecessary items. Follows established guidelines to ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Safety Mindset: Adheres to all established safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintains mindfulness of self and surrounding work area to promote a safe working environment.

  • Quality Control: Participates to improve clarity and accuracy in documented processes and procedures.

Other Qualifications:

We are seeking an experienced Spring Winder / Coiler with proven ability to operate and maintain precision spring manufacturing equipment. Preferred experience includes:

  • CNC spring coiling machines (e.g., Torin, Wafios, Fenn) and Grinders.
  • Manual and semi-automatic spring winding machines.
  • Wire forming tools, mandrels, and jigs.
  • Measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for tight tolerance work.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Working with various wire materials (music wire, stainless steel, Inconel).
  • Performing quality checks and adjustments to ensure consistent coil pitch, diameter, and load.

Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment for optimal production.
