Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Special Procedures Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging to support physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. You will operate imaging equipment, prepare patients and procedure rooms, and maintain patient safety and sterile technique throughout procedures.

The role requires ARRT or applicable professional certification, a state radiologic technologist license where applicable, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in special procedures, interventional radiology, or a related imaging setting (Preferred)

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures according to physician orders.
• Operates specialized imaging equipment and ensures quality images are obtained.
• Prepares patients, procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Assists physicians during procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes or complications to the care team.
• Follows radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
• Documents procedures and patient information accurately in the medical record.

Special Procedures Technologist

Job Summary

Performs specialized diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Operates imaging equipment, prepares patients and procedure rooms, and maintains patient safety and sterile technique throughout procedures.

Education & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in special procedures, interventional radiology, or a related imaging setting (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• ARRT or applicable professional certification/registration (Required)
• State radiologic technologist license, where applicable (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Preferred)
