Job summary

HiredFirst in Arizona is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist / Radiology Tech (Contract) to support Interventional Radiology procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role involves assisting with neuro and stroke interventions and providing high-quality patient care.

Expect 4 x 10-hour shifts, weekends on-call, and travel to South Campus as needed. The selected candidate should have at least 2 years IR experience and strong technical, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of IR experience.
• Experience with neuro/stroke procedures.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Outerwear (hospital-issued jacket or gown) required.

Job description

Special Procedures Technologist / Radiology Tech (Contract) – Arizona 85719

Bonus: Bonus incentive available

Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts (Monday–Friday) with 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM start times

On-Call Requirements:

Weekends: 2–3 times per month (based on staffing needs)

Work Setting:

Medical Imaging – Interventional Radiology (IR)

May float to South Campus based on staffing needs

Responsibilities:

Assist with a variety of Interventional Radiology procedures, including neuro and stroke interventions

Support physicians during complex imaging-guided procedures

Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of IR experience required

Experience in neuro/stroke procedures required (commensurate with Level I Trauma setting)

Previous travel experience preferred

Strong technical, communication, and critical thinking skills

Outerwear: Hospital-issued jacket or gown required
