Job summary

Baptist Health Imaging in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for full-time daytime shifts. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates and positions.

The imaging department offers CT, X-ray, interventional radiology, MRI, nuclear medicine, PET/CT, and ultrasound, with access to state-of-the-art equipment and community coverage. Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology.
• Current ARRT Registry in Radiologic Technology.
• Current Commonwealth of Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License; eligible for advanced registry within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
• Exhibits professional judgment in performance of service and maintains ethics in patient care.
