Job summary

University Health System in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Special Procedures Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join a fast-paced cardiovascular team. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and operate imaging equipment in the Cath Lab.

Requirements include RCIS or ARRT certification, BLS/ACLS (and PALS for pediatrics), and 2 years RCIS/ARRT experience. Weekday schedule with weekend on-call rotations provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certification: RCIS or ARRT required. BLS and ACLS for adults; BLS, ACLS, and PALS for pediatrics.
• Experience: 2 years as RCIS or ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Operate radiographic and imaging equipment.
• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
