Job summary

McLeod Health in Florence, SC is hiring a Special Procedures Technologist for DAYS. This on-site role performs specialized radiologic procedures, ensures image quality, and maintains a professional image with patients and colleagues.

The position requires an AMA-accredited radiologic technology program graduate, ARRT eligibility within 6 months, and SC licensure. BLS certification is required, with a schedule of 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday, plus on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology (AMA approved) required.
• ARRT certified or eligibility within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• South Carolina license required.

Responsibilities

• Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedures based on body habitus, pathology and body parts.
• Processes completed images to ensure interpretable quality.
• Maintains professional image and performs with excellent customer relations.
• Performs all Special Procedures examinations during scheduled hours and is available for call.
• Complies with policies to deliver high-quality service.

Job Summary

2.Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedure, based on body habits, pathology and body parts.
3.Processes completed images making sure they are of interpretable quality.
4.Continues to develop professionalism through continuing education programs and in-services.
5.Complies with all policies of the system with the intention of delivering the highest quality of service.
6.Performs all Special Procedures examinations during scheduled hours and is available for call.
7.Performs all other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: 80 Hours Biweekly. Full Time. Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm with on-call rotation as scheduled.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

• Completion of an approved AMA school of radiologic technology
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• ARRT within 6 months of hire
• SC License required
