The University of Miami Health System seeks a Special Procedures Technologist to support interventional radiology procedures, operate imaging equipment, and assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cases. The role emphasizes patient safety, high-quality imaging, and radiation protection.

The Special Procedures Technologist 1 assists with the day-to-day operations of interventional radiology and during complex procedures through the operation of radiographic equipment to obtain the highest quality diagnostic images with the least amount of radiation exposure The incumbent provides various imaging services to assist interventional physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. The Special Procedures Technologist 2 maintains efficient workflow of the section and promotes UCARE goals to achieve the highest quality care and customer service.

Education: Associate degree in relevant field required
