Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist (Full-Time) to perform contrast media administration, sterile technique, and assist interventional procedures in a hospital setting. The role requires hands-on care, drug knowledge, IV access, and radiologic imaging workflow compliance.

Candidates should have RCIS/RCES or ARRT RT(R) certification and strong patient interaction skills. The position entails a standard 4x10 hour shift schedule with rotating call.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ACLS training within six months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Special Procedures, Cath Lab or EP Lab preferred.
• Shift: Mon–Fri (4, 10 Hour Shifts) with rotating call coverage (8–10 call days per month).
• Current RCIS/RCES (CCI) or ARRT RT(R) licensure/certification required.

• Exhibit the ability to start and maintain IV access. Accurately follow physician orders, document exam completion in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.

Special Procedures Technologist SPEC PROC TECH Full-TimeSpecial Procedures Technologist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• BLS certification required.
• Completion of ACLS training within six months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients, guests, physicians, and other employees.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Special Procedures, Cath Lab, EP Lab preferred.
• Shift Requirements: Monday - Friday (4, 10 Hour Shifts) - Rotating Call Coverage - Between 8-10 Call Days per Month)
• Current license or registry certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• OR Current license or registry from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)].
