Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS training must be completed within six months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
• Minimum of one year of Special Procedures, Cath Lab, or EP Lab experience.
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 4 x 10-hour shifts with rotating on-call days (8–10 per month).
• Current RCIS/RCES/CCI certification or ARRT RT(R) registration required.

• Scrub and assist the interventional physician during interventional procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of drugs, including their actions, side effects, and contraindications for administration.
• Exhibit the ability to start and maintain IV access. Accurately follow physician orders, document exam completion in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
• Properly measure and dispose of radioactive waste in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Shift Requirements: Monday - Friday (4, 10 Hour Shifts) - Rotating Call Coverage - Between 8-10 Call Days per Month)
• Current license or registry certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• OR Current license or registry from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)].
