Medical City Arlington is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to perform high quality special and invasive imaging procedures, focusing on patient care and education. The role requires timely shift coverage and adherence to departmental goals.

You will educate patients and families, maintain records, and participate in cost containment while delivering customer-focused care under the Excellence Always standards.

Competenze

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Paramedic, CST, ARRT-R, or Associate Degree, or work experience in lieu of degree.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs and assists with high quality special and invasive procedures, focusing on patient care and education. Supports and helps achieve departmental goals. Effectively participates and promotes Star Service Skills to include service recovery.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality diagnostic imaging
• Maintain records
• Educate patients and family
• Attendance and being on time, ready to work scheduled hours is an essential job function.
• Assists in departmental cost containment effort.
• Deliver customer focused care utilizing the Excellence Always Standards to include the transport of patients as required to facilitate optimal patient care/flow.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or Associate Degree, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree
