Job summary

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital is seeking a Special Procedures Tech PRN to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will act as the first line interface with patients to support imaging needs, applying anatomy knowledge, hemodynamics, and sterile technique.

Requirements include ARRt-R Radiography, RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, ARRt-VI Vascular Interventional Radiography, and graduation from an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification (or eligible)
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer license/credential
• ARRT-VI Vascular Interventional Radiography certification
• AMA approved Radiology Technology program graduation

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and invasive/interventional procedures.
• Serve as the first line interface with patients to support imaging needs.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to safety protocols during procedures.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Special Procedures Tech, you will be performing a variety of diagnostic and invasive/interventional procedures. You will be functioning as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. You will have knowledge of anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile technique.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• (ARRT-R) Radiography


• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer


• (ARRT-VI) Vascular Interventional Radiography


• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiology Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
