Job summary

Qualifications

• Candidate must complete an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Licensed or temporarily licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
• BLS or ACLS certification is required.
• ARRT-R registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and explain processes.
• Administer contrast and position patients for imaging.
• Ensure image quality and select appropriate techniques.
• Monitor and accurately enter patient data.
• Perform QA on radiology equipment and support accreditation.
• Report accidents and equipment malfunctions and follow safety protocols.
• Provide emergency department call coverage as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and department budgets.
• Support education and mentorship for junior staff.
• Deliver compassionate, personalized patient experiences.
