Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Special Procedures Tech Assistant PRN to support technologists and ensure high-quality patient care. You will transport and assist with patient care, help with CR/Image processing, and support PACS/Meditech documentation.

This role emphasizes patient satisfaction and adherence to safety standards. Eligible candidates have a HS diploma and BLS certification; prior patient-care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Patient Care or Medical Work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technologists with patient care and safety.
• Transport and transfer patients as needed.
• Provide basic patient care and cleanliness in care areas.
• Stock supplies, change linen, and maintain equipment areas.
• Assist with CR/Image processing and PACS/Meditech documentation.
• Act as an ambassador for the department to promote patient satisfaction and quality of care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
