Trinity Health Interventional Radiology Technologist position in Pontiac, MI seeks a skilled technologist to perform specialized radiologic procedures in collaboration with physicians. The role emphasizes ALARA techniques and imaging excellence, within a patient-centered care environment.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT certification, have completed an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT certification as Radiographer, with willingness to maintain certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to function with limited supervision.
• Ability to assume leadership in the absence of lead/manager.
• Ability to recognize pathology and modify examination for a complete diagnosis.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Interventional Radiology Technologist

What you will do: The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs a variety of specialized invasive and non-invasive diagnostic radiologic procedures in collaboration with the physicians or advanced practitioners and the radiology team. The Interventional Radiology Technologist operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain optimal quality radiographs for interpretation by physicians, with attention to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques.

What you will need:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program Certification as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and willingness to maintain certification thereafter.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to function with limited or no supervision in normal circumstances.
• Ability to assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of lead and/or manager
• Ability to recognize pathology and modify examination to provide a complete diagnosis
