BJC HealthCare System seeks a Full-Time Radiology Technologist for MSK and Neuro Interventional Radiology. The role involves operating fluoroscopy, image-guided and minimally invasive procedures, with on-call coverage for emergent Neuro IR cases. Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) required.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology and MSK procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging in advanced modalities (CT/MRI/Interventional) as applicable.
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment; maintain sterile fields.
• Participate in on-call coverage for emergent Neuro IR cases.
• Support MSK and Neuro Interventional Radiology procedures.

$5,000 Sign on Bonus Eligible

• Day Shift: 4 days per hours shifts - Monday - Friday (7:30am-6pm)
• Extra Pay Call Rotation ( Paid even if not called in ): Weeknight call (Monday to Thursday): 6:00 PM to 7:30 AM & Weekend call (Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM)
• Participate in on-call coverage for emergent Neuro IR cases
• Support both Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Neuro Interventional Radiology procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment, prepare and maintain sterile procedure fields, image-guided procedures, minimally invasive procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment & participate in call and respond to emergent cases
• Stroke intervention, neurovascular procedures, kyphoplasty, ablations, biopsies, and injections
• On-the-job training will be provided for candidates with strong procedural imaging backgrounds

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.Performs studies independently, in on‑call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
