Job summary

Vista Del Mar’s Teacher Assistant (Special Needs Program) supports the teacher in developing and carrying out curriculum and behavior modification systems for emotionally disturbed children and adolescents.

Bachelor’s Degree is required; BA credentials expected within 30 days. You will maintain attendance records, assist with data for Treatment Plans and progress reports, and help communicate with staff. Driving may be required on occasion.

• Bachelor's Degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in developing and carrying out curriculum and behavior modification systems for emotionally disturbed children/adolescents.
• Maintain Class Attendance Records and confidential student files.
• Submit UORs and Incident Reports when needed and collect data for Treatment Plan Reviews and progress reports.
• Assist with daily communication forms and data entry for reports.
• Occasional driving may be required.
