Job summary

Aspris Clay Hill School is recruiting a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join our Education team. You will work alongside the class teacher, assisting pupils with tasks and supporting behaviour while building positive relationships with pupils.

The role involves delivering personalised educational assistance, adapting support across all key stages, and collaborating with staff, parents and professionals to promote the pupil's learning and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting in a classroom setting.
• Ability to adapt support across key stages and individual pupil needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised educational assistance to a pupil in need of additional support.
• Work alongside the class teacher to support with pupil work and behaviour.
• Build rapport with the pupil and establish effective strategies to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with parents and other professionals to create a nurturing environment.
