Job summary

Muskegon Area Intermediate School District seeks a Para Educator for the 2026/2027 academic year at Muskegon High School. The position reports to the Building Principal or designee and requires meeting the stated education and certification requirements.

Starting hourly rate is $19.67 for a 35-hour week over 185 days per year, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid leave, and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher, or 60 semester hours, or ETS Paraprofessional Assessment score of 460.
• Therapeutic Crisis Intervention certification within two district trainings from hire date.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 60 days of hire.
• Successful pre-employment physical and criminal background check.
