Job summary

24 Hour Home Care is seeking a Special Needs Caregiver in Shingle Springs, CA to support children, teens, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home settings. You will follow individualized care plans and provide progress updates to the care team.

Pay rates for CA assignments are $16.90–$20 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits program after 90 days, including health coverage, sick leave, a 401(k), EAP, and more.

Qualifications

• Reliability and punctuality are essential for consistent in‑home caregiving.
• Willingness to travel to different cities to support clients.
• Two references, at least one confirming disability-related experience.
• Proof of a negative TB test as required by regulations.
• CPR and First Aid Certification; reimbursement may be available.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care to children, teens, and adults with I/DDs.
• Follow individualized client care plans and report progress to the care team.
• Deliver non-medical services including personal care, meals, companionship, and light housekeeping.

The Role:

In this role, you will provide in-home care to children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs). You will follow individualized client care plans and provide periodic progress updates to the care team. #INDDS

Services may include: personal care (bathing/showering & toileting assistance), meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.*Services provided are non-medical*

What You Bring to the Table:

• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to travel to different cities (highly desired)
• Two references – at least one reference must be able to confirm disability-related experience
• Proof of a negative TB test is required in accordance with Regional Center regulations (requirements may vary by location). If you need a TB skin test, we cover the full cost for eligible candidates.
• Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid Certification(s) –reimbursement available!

Pay rates for this position are set by assignment and may vary depending on client location and services required. Expected CA pay rate for current assignments is set at:

$16.90 - $20 USD
