Job summary

24 Hour Home Care - Caregiver Division in Los Angeles is looking for compassionate caregivers to support clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs) in their homes. Your responsibilities will include following individualized care plans, providing personal care, and communicating with the care team.

The ideal candidate is reliable, has experience in caregiving, and possesses certifications in CPR and First Aid. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive health coverage after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Experience with children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid Certification(s).
• Two references confirming experience with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care to clients with I/DDs.
• Follow individualized care plans and deliver updates to the care team.
• Perform personal care tasks such as bathing and meal preparation.

You are an empathetic and attentive caregiver with a passion for supporting children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs) in their homes. The Role

In this role, you will provide in‑home care to children, teenagers, and adults with I/DDs. You will follow individualized client care plans and deliver periodic progress updates to the care team.

Services

Services may include personal care (bathing/showering & toileting assistance), meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping. Services provided are non‑medical.

• Two references – at least one reference must confirm disability‑related experience
• Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid Certification(s) – reimbursement available!

Pay Rates

Pay rates for this position are set by assignment and may vary depending on client location and services required. Expected CA pay rate for current assignments is set at:
$16.90 - $20 USD.
