Compensation

Compensation range: $18.70 - $28.03 per hour. The range provided complies with state laws. Rates may be adjusted based on skills, experience, and other factors. Eligible for the Company's Incentive Plan.

Job Summary

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable Class C Special Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a truck, and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our drivers build relationships with each customer and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations by having a positive, friendly attitude. While this position does not require a Class A or B commercial driver's license, individuals hired who do possess a Class A or B license may be required on an as‑needed basis to operate a tractor‑trailer and will need to meet all DOT driver qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate ClassC truck. Manually unload and deliver products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc., to customer locations on assigned route schedule. Build customer relationships and familiarize with operations to meet needs and expectations. Maintain a positive, friendly attitude.

Physical Demands

Touch freight – may need to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40‑60pounds and as much as 100pounds.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Must submit to a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
• ClassC/Standard Operator Driver License.
• Physical ability to lift, push or move products weighing an average of 40‑60pounds, and as much as 100pounds.
