Job summary

Sysco Lincoln, Inc. is seeking dependable Class C Special Delivery Truck Drivers to operate a truck and unload/deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route.

You will build relationships with customers, maintaining a positive attitude to meet their needs and expectations. Although a Class A or B license is not required, individuals who possess one may be asked to operate a tractor-trailer and must meet DOT driver qualifications as needed.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age
• Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
• Commercial drivers must be able to read and speak English to communicate and complete records

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class C Special Delivery Truck to safely deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
• Unload and deliver meats, produce, groceries and supplies while maintaining a positive attitude
• Build relationships with customers and meet their needs; comply with DOT requirements if tractor-trailer operation is needed

JOB SUMMARY

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable Class C Special Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a truck, and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our drivers build relationships with each customer and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations by having a positive, friendly attitude. While this position does not require a Class A or B commercial driver's license, individuals hired who do possess a Class A or B license may be required on an as-needed basis to operate a tractor-trailer and will need to meet all DOT driver qualification requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requirements 21+ years of age.
• Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen.
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
• Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Class C/Standard Operator Driver License.
