• Prepare daily and data reports of testing and inspections.
• Perform all assigned tests and inspections competently.
• Prepare and submit company documents related to the projects.
• Submit own time sheet for approval daily.
• Obtain proper field authorizations signed by the client when required.
• Advise Supervisor or Project Manager of any changes in work scope or potential budget overruns.
• Maintain positive business relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.

Job description

Position: Special Inspector (Corona, CA)

We are seeking a Special Inspector to perform testing, site observations, and assessments. Responsibilities include operating equipment, conducting tests, reporting data, and working from drawings, specifications, diagrams, schematics, and specific instructions. Inspectors will use industry‑specific methods to observe site activities, take samples, perform tests, and make minor adjustments as needed.

Essential Job Functions

• Effectively communicate with Supervisor and Dispatch to obtain daily work assignments.
• Prepare daily and data reports of testing and inspections.
• Perform all assigned tests and inspections competently.
• Prepare and submit company documents related to the projects.
• Submit own time sheet for approval daily.
• Obtain proper field authorizations signed by the client when required or when work beyond the original scope is requested.
• Advise Supervisor or Project Manager of any changes in work scope or potential budget overruns.
• Maintain positive business relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.

Qualifications

• ICC (ICBO) Certification in one or more of the following: Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, Prestressed Concrete, Fireproofing, Residential Building, Commercial Building, Structural Steel & Bolting.
• ACI Field certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to accomplish tasks under adverse weather and/or site conditions.
• May be required to work in confined spaces and climb or work at above‑average heights.
• Good or corrected vision and manual dexterity.

Pay Range

$30 - $40 USD per hour
