Special Inspector (full-time)

Hourly hiring range: $23.00 to $30.00 (based on years of experience and certifications)

Falcon is seeking a Special Inspector for our Cary, NC Testing and Inspections group. Falcon offers paid training, certifications, and renewals.

Responsibilities

• Materials testing, inspections, and daily field reporting.

Required Qualifications

Three years of experience in Construction Inspections

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred certifications: NCDOT and American Concrete Institute (ACI) Field Technician Level I, Nuclear Gauge User Certification.
• Special Inspector certifications: ICC – Soils, Concrete, and Masonry
• Have a basic understanding of plans/blueprints.
• Be able to lift equipment up to 80 lbs.
• Be able to perform physical activities required of the testing procedures including squatting, bending, lifting, climbing, and traversing difficult terrain.
• Have a willingness to perform work after regular business hours, occasional night work, and some weekends when necessary.
• Driver’s license required.
• Will train the right candidate (the company will pay for all certifications).
