Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks EMTs for part-time event coverage in Los Angeles County. You will deliver high quality patient care at sporting events and concerts, document all interactions, and communicate with the on-site leadership. • Must have EMT certification and California license.
• Valid CPR HCP certification required.
• Completion of ICS 100/200 and NIMS IS-700/800 training.
• High school diploma or GED and valid CA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care and customer service at events per protocols.
• Complete all documentation as per company policy.
• Report problems immediately to Lead Paramedic or Supervisor.
• Maintain professional appearance as per hygiene and uniform standards.
• Perform other duties as defined by supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY: A

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Current EMT Basic skills and abilities
• Delivers high quality patient care and customer service within the prescribed scope of practice, established protocols and company policies
• Completes all appropriate documentation as outlined in company policy
• Reports all problems and unusual occurrences immediately to the Lead Paramedic or Supervisor
• Maintains a professional appearance by adhering to hygiene and uniforms standards.
• Other Duties as defined

Education/Certifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• CA Drivers’ License
• State of California EMT License
• CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider. Hand written cards are not acceptable)
• ICS courses,
• IS-100B (ICS 100)
• IS-200B (ICS 200)
• IS-700A (NIMS)
• IS-800B (NIMS)
