Qualifications

  • Knowledge of various cocktail recipes and the ability to create drink menus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages per venue standards.
  • Check IDs and ensure alcohol service complies with laws and policies.
  • Maintain a clean, stocked bar before, during, and after events.
  • Set up and break down bar areas for events.
  • Wash and polish glassware to venue standards and inspect for defects.
  • Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management.
  • Handle cash, credit cards, and POS transactions accurately when required.
  • Provide warm, professional, attentive service to guests.

Summary

We are looking for friendly, professional, and energetic Bartenders to join our wedding and events team. Our bartenders play an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for guests.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment, provides exceptional customer service, and understands the importance of professionalism, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service.

  • Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non‑alcoholic beverages according to venue standards
  • Check guests’ identification when required and ensure all alcohol is served in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and venue policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar before, during and after events
  • Set up and break down bar areas before and after events
  • Wash, sanitize, and polish all glassware according to venue standards
  • Inspect glasses for chips, cracks, spots, or residue before placing them into service
  • Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management
  • Handle cash, credit‑card transactions, and/or POS systems accurately when required
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude during busy events
  • Work closely with servers, event staff, coordinators, and venue management
  • Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to guests
  • Help maintain a polished, upscale atmosphere appropriate for weddings and special events
  • Follow all venue safety, sanitation, and service policies
  • Perform additional event‑related duties as needed
Hours

Part Time, non exempt position. Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as wedding and event schedules require.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Event may be inside or outside, in varying temperatures, lighting, and noise levels. The area may be crowded.

  • While performing the duties of this job, employee is occasionally required tostand and walk for extended periods, often throughout the duration of a wedding or event; frequently reach, bend, stoop, crouch, and move around the bar and event space; lift, carry, and move beverage supplies, ice, glassware, boxes, and other bar equipment weighing up to 50 pounds; to use hands and fingers continuously for pouring, mixing, opening containers, handling glassware, and operating a point‑of‑sale system; perform duties while exposed to varying temperatures, lighting, noise levels, and crowded environments.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 21 years or older with a valid BASSET certificate
  • Minimum of one year of prior experience in bartending at a restaurant, catering, or a related service environment
  • Knowledge of various cocktail recipes and the ability to create unique drink menus
