Job summary

Jovie is seeking reliable, energetic sitters to provide high-quality childcare during special events at venues across St. Louis County and St Charles County. You will care for groups of children at varying locations, including church services, weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings.

We pay $16/hour with flexible hours, paced by event needs. Applicants must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, and fun environment for children of all ages.
• Supervise group play and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts.
• Manage event-specific transitions, such as meal times, quiet hours, or movie nights.
• Greet parents warmly during check-in and follow secure check-out procedures.
• Monitor children for any behavioral or safety issues and resolve conflicts gently.
• Keep the event childcare space clean, organized, and tidy throughout the shift.
