Family of Kidz is seeking a Special Educator EI/SEIS in Putnam County, NY, for part-time, or potential full-time/fee-for-service roles. The position involves providing Early Intervention and Preschool services with flexible scheduling, including day/evening/weekend options, and compensation per hour.

Responsibilities include delivering IFSP/IEP-aligned lessons, tracking progress, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. A NYS B-Grade 2 certification and strong communication are required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Work with students in Early Intervention or Preschool to deliver individualized lessons aligned to IFSP/IEP goals.
• Develop creative, multi-sensory lessons and report progress toward goals.
• Collect data on IEP/IFSP goals and report quarterly on child progress.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Attain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Participate in professional development trainings to stay current with best practices.
• Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.

• EI Compensation: $64-$70/ hour
• Preschool Compensation: $60/ Hour

**Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.**

Responsibilities

• Work with students who are in Early Intervention or Preschool Program providing individualized lessons which target goals from the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) / Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
• Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons based on the IFSP/IEP goals and report progress toward these goals.
• Collect meaningful information on IEP /IFSP goals and report quarterly on child’s progress with IEP/IFSP goals.
• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practice approach and continue personal development.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.
