Job summary

Family of Kidz in Nassau County, NY seeks care professionals to support Early Intervention and Preschool programs. Roles may be part-time, fee-for-service, or full-time, with flexible scheduling and opportunities across day, evening, and weekend shifts.

EI compensation ranges from $64 to $75 per hour, with preschool rates $55-$60 per hour. Benefits for full-time staff include PTO, holidays, health insurance, 401(k), and professional development. Candidates with NYS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification is required or preferred for related roles.
• Experience working with children and families is preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in Early Intervention or Preschool programs providing individualized lessons targeting IFSP/IEP goals.
• Develop creative, multi-sensory lessons and report progress toward goals.
• Collect information on IEP/IFSP goals and report quarterly progress.
• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practices.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.

• Work with students who are in Early Intervention or Preschool Program providing individualized lessons which target goals from the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) / Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
• Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons based on the IFSP/IEP goals and report progress toward these goals.
• Collect meaningful information on IEP /IFSP goals and report quarterly on child’s progress with IEP/IFSP goals.
• Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily.
• Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practice approach and continue personal development.
• Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Attend IEP/IFSP meetings.
